Rafael Gómez, PhD

Associate Professor of Spanish, California State University

Dr. Gómez is an Associate Professor of Spanish at California State University, Monterey Bay. He has more than twenty years' teaching experience in the area of Spanish language, culture, literature, and language pedagogy. Dr. Gómez has taught at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, the University of Hawaii, Indiana University, the City University of New York, and the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México in Toluca, México. He has been a Fulbright Grantee in Kiel, Germany, a Rotary Faculty Scholar in Toluca, Mexico, and a National Hispanic Scholar. Dr. Gómez is co-author of Con destinos a la comunicación.
